The restart saw Lasoski leading Herrera, Hibbs, Bruce and Burks. Once green, Laoski built a lead ahead of Herrera and Bruce. With eight lap in the books, Brown split Bruce and Hibbs to move into third. Just when the leaders were entering lapped traffic, Swindell spun with eleven laps in. Lasoski led Herrera, Brown, Bruce and Jason Johnson back to green. Herrera and Brown went at it for second, gaining on the leader. Herrera shot by Lasoski on lap 15, and two laps later, Bellm spun, bringing a yellow. W. Johnson slowed at the same time, and Loyet lost a wing sideboard while running eighth. Herrera led Lasoski, Brown, Bruce and J. Johnson on the restart. Brown worked by Lasoski as one more lap was in before Loyet stopped. Loyet replaced his top wing, but five laps after the restart he ended up on his lid after contact with Wood. Hibbs was also involved. The final restart with seven laps to go saw Herrera leading Brown, Lasoski, Bruce and Forler back to green. Brown dogged Herrera and made a slide attempt, but it wasn’t enough.
