Bryan Hulbert - TULSA, Okla. (May 21, 2013) Just getting warmed up, the 2013 season for the Speedway Motors Warrior Region rolls into Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Mo. on Wednesday, May 22 with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real.

Parting ways with the National Tour, the Warrior drivers will seek the Double X Speedway in California, Mo. on Sunday, May 26 for a night in honor of the late Jesse Hockett.

Joining the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by MAVTV American Real this past Friday at the U.S. 36 Raceway, a ninth place showing against the national drivers by Jonathan Cornell has boosted the Sedalia, Mo. driver atop the point standings by 31 markers over Jay Russell. Wyatt Burks, Cody Baker, and sister Casey Baker currently make up the top five in Warrior Region standings.

Wednesday night a Valley Speedway is scheduled to open at 5:00 P.M. (CDT) with racing getting underway at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday will also include Midgets and Micro Sprints. Information including ticket prices and directions can be found at http://www.valleyspeedway.com.

Sunday at the Double X Speedway will have gates opening at 5:00 P.M. (CDT) with races slated to begin at 7:30 P.M. The tribute to Jesse Hockett has been ongoing since the year of the tragic loss.
