"Speed Gene Lewis" Memorial Hawk Performance Outbrake the Competition Weekend Points race night
Pits will open at 4, front gate at 6,hot laps 6:30, Heat races at 7. Adults $20, senior. student, military$18 kids 6-12 $6 pit passes $40 Hawk Performance OUTBRAKE the Competition Weekend offers every track the ultimate SWAG PACK for their racers and fans including decals, shirts, hats, and other cool promotional materials. 3-$100 certificates)in awards for class winners.
If you have been around motorcycle or car racing you have been around "Speed Gene". Gene opened Lake City Cycle Park in 1972 and made motocross what it is today in this area, Gene teched cars at I-70 Speedway, Lakeside Speedway and Valley Speedway. He also started racing cars back in the 50s. Gene passed away just before the season started this season. We are working on a special purse for this event Sprints, $1,000, B Mods $700, E Mods $500, Pure Stocks $500, Dirt Demon $200.
